Karakou is a 25-year-old visual artist who has recently stepped into the world of music with her debut album Den Me Peirazei. Coming from the visual arts, she approaches music as a more immediate and emotional medium a way to reveal deeper layers of feeling and to connect with the present moment.

Her work is shaped by a strong interest in the social and political landscape of our time, as well as by the belief that today’s youth need spaces for honesty, expression, and vulnerability. For her, music is not only personal but also collective a reflection of our shared need to feel and to exist. Rooted in Greek culture, Karakou draws inspiration from the spirit of laïkó popular music in its broadest sense seeking to bring emotional depth and accessibility together.
